As she began with the tap, I knew there was something wonderful going to come out on the paper. I decided to keep a track of this artist's drawing. After every 10 minutes she had a new concept on her paper. With those superb shades she had a valuable message to give to all the on-lookers. I tried hard to capture all her stages, I hope I've made it. The topic was "Global Warming", what else could be better than this message? Today all that can save us are TREES!

So many Ishan Awastis!
It was a COME ONE, COME ALL Drawing competition which began at sharp 7am. For today's generation getting up early on Sunday's is a difficult task you see, but there are some crazy children who are magnetized by the creative nature around them. So here we had a good number of crazy tots who participated in the competition to explore the nature around them. The open air hall concept was fabulous. It always supports the creative minds to excel in their art.
As the competition began , I heard a boy saying, " people come for prizes. We come only for drawing. If we don't get a prize it's ok. " And this kid was just 9 years old. If he could think like that, why can't we?
There's so much to learn from our young India. I could see so many Ishan Avastis on the ground. Their color combinations, their imagination power, their creative yet stable minds were all outstanding.
There was no age bar, only different topics to different age groups. It was a treat to the eyes to see a mother-son sitting together and exhibiting their interests towards creating something. Other Parents encouraged their child by being there for them.
The topics based on social issues too made their way out from the matured minds onto the paper. It was unbelievable to see children aware of the social issues and willing to bring awareness amongst others.
A fifth standard boy holding a brush like a professional is certainly worth watching. Saichha Creative Academy's 2nd drawing competition held on 10th April 2016, was again a huge success as each participant sitting there was present wholeheartedly. Despite the late morning sun, the participants didn't bother about it. Each one completed their work in full swing. No matter who wins, all that matters is experience: Experiencing the joy of art, Experiencing the feeling of togetherness and Experiencing yourself- Your inner self.
