Another blockbuster exhibition!

Nowadays, a book is hardly seen in a kid's hand. All that we see is a mobile phone and a game running into it. A 13 year old tot, reading the Ramayana and illustrating the historical instances from it into spectacular paintings is incredible. Difficult to believe, but everything and anything is possible with these aspiring kids of Saichha Creative Academy. Sahil, definitely proved to be the show-stopper of the event.
The extreme level of research, the minute detailing and the spectacular thought process put forward in the form of artistic artifacts is commendable.
Saichha Creatives took us deep down into the world of art, right from the pencil to a full-fledged digitized outcome. The expressive projects laid on the long tables weren't just a piece of colorful pages, they had a lot more to convey to the audience. May it be the mesmerizing Konkan Darshan or "Laj mala ali bai" or the very pathetic rule-violating pictures of amchi Mumbai, each project was a gemstone.
Pritesh's photo-shoot was not just turning the pages of the album, it was a series of real life stories. Also, it was a tribute given to our beloved comedians by making such an attempt to exhibit their faces in an exhibition. The idea behind this project was genuinely pure and out of the box.
Writing about these mind-blowing artists and their art is a difficult task to do, because all that one can do is look at their master-pieces and take a deep dive into the entire thought process. If at all anybody has missed to experience the bliss of this outstanding exhibition, do wait until the next one. I bet the one year wait too will be worth it.

I congratulate each and everyone part of this big event and pray that it becomes bigger and bigger!

Saichha, with a supreme message.....

Before reading the excerpt you need to see this video carefully.
I bet you'll have to see it twice to get the gist of it.
When I landed up seeing it for the second time, I've realized how much time I took to link up with the Almighty. We've been preoccupied with the social network so much so that we've forgotten our prime duties. No wonder I replayed the video to understand the depth of it.
With a wonderful script and fabulous music as usual Divine Swara and Saichha  is here again to entertain and at the same time remind us what humanity is. As the background sound keeps you intact, the video will help you connect straight with our dear Lord. Whether we worship Vitthal, Ram, Allah, Jesus or Buddha, in His eyes we are the same. Every act in the video shows us various shades of humanity in a graceful manner.
Though the music is the base of the entire video, the thought behind it is the heart of it. If you get the idea in the first watch itself that means there's still some human left in you, if not we'll have to work towards it.
The message goes like this : "There is Vitthal, there is Ram, there is Jesus, there is Allah in each one of us. We only need to peep inside and bring out the Lord in us so as to benefit the needy. Sheer happiness lies in giving."
Thank You, Divine Swara and Saichha  for a reminder!
Special Thanks to the cast and crew behind this spectacular video performance. The music still echoes in the ears.

Stages of a Masterpiece!

As she began with the tap, I knew there was something wonderful going to come out on the paper. I decided to keep a track of this artist's drawing. After every 10 minutes she had a new concept on her paper. With those superb shades she had a valuable message to give to all the on-lookers. I tried hard to capture all her stages, I hope I've made it. The topic was "Global Warming", what else could be better than this message? Today all that can save us are TREES!

So many Ishan Awastis!

It was a COME ONE, COME ALL Drawing competition which began at sharp 7am. For today's generation getting up early on  Sunday's is a difficult task you see, but there are some crazy children who are magnetized by the creative nature around them. So here we had a good number of crazy tots who participated in the competition to explore the nature around them. The open air hall concept was fabulous. It always supports the creative minds to excel in their art.
As the competition began , I heard a boy saying, " people come for prizes. We come only for drawing. If we don't get a prize it's ok. " And this kid was just 9 years old. If he could think like that, why can't we?
There's so much to learn from our young India. I could see so many Ishan Avastis on the ground. Their color combinations, their imagination power, their creative yet stable minds were all outstanding.
There was no age bar, only different topics to different age groups. It was a treat to the eyes to see a mother-son sitting together and exhibiting their interests towards creating something. Other Parents encouraged their child by being there for them.
The topics based on social issues too made their way out from the matured minds onto the paper. It was unbelievable to see children aware of the social issues and willing to bring awareness amongst others.
A fifth standard boy holding a  brush like a professional is certainly worth watching. Saichha Creative Academy's 2nd drawing competition held on 10th  April 2016, was again a huge success as each participant sitting there was present wholeheartedly. Despite the late morning sun, the participants didn't bother about it. Each one completed their work in full swing.     No matter who wins, all that matters is experience: Experiencing the joy of art, Experiencing the feeling of  togetherness and Experiencing yourself- Your inner self.

Telling something crucial through a street play...

Street plays aren't the sophisticated plays held in theaters. As the name depicts they are the ones performed on mere roads or small lanes. Mostly these street plays are enacted to spread one or the other social awareness issues. The common man is the vital part of any social cause or awareness. Thus Saiccha too opted for the most effective way of street play for putting forth their thoughts in front of the society, a society in which we enjoy all the basic needs accompanied with many luxurious facilities. For such metropolitans it was more than easy to just peep out of their house and be all ears to what these guys had to convey through their play. Some questions which they presented in the short play to be emphasized on are:

1. We bargain with the street hawkers, do we go in the huge malls and dare to bargain?
2. We go on a vacation to our native places and come back with coconuts, dry fruits, pure desi ghee, mangoes and what not. We merely give them something in return. Is it fair?
3. From where does the raw material come for our pizzas and burgers?
4. We Metropolitans buy more and more clothes just because we like them or because they're in trend. On the contrary, our farmers still go shirtless in the intense heat to work in the farms.
5. When global warming is at the peak can we do our little by dropping mangoes, jackfruit, seeds on our way back to Mumbai from our dear villages? Nature will grow on it's own, isn't it?

The vital factor in our life is the one and only one - OUR DEAR FARMER

These were some of the to-be-highlighted points we Metropolitans need to be sensitive of. With heaps of clothes, bundles of books and some donation Saiccha boys have left for a noble task to Kasthi Sawarpada, Taluka Palghar, for devoting their time, hardwork, money and intelligence to the ones in need.

With lots of hope and dedication Saiccha have taken a huge step towards developing the under-privileged villages of Maharashtra. Wishing them All the very best !

FOLLOWING THE FOOTSTEPS OF SAI BABA .......

Since 9 years, Saichha Bhajan Mandal have being performing Sai bhajans in different places of Maharashtra. Besides their exemplary performance, these guys also spread social awareness thoughts. Usually, boys in their late teens enjoy picnics, loitering around and live a rocking life. But there is a huge group of boys who think they owe something to the society they live in, and they the "Saichha Boys".
Saichha Bhajan Mandal has been serving the society over three years from whatever small amount they get through their bhajan programs.

1. In 2013, they've provided educational help to the children of an orphanage.
2. In 2014, they've provided medical help to the oldies of an old-age-home.
3. In 2015, they had arranged a free health camp and blood donation camp. Also, they financially helped two cancer patients with a major share of capital.

4.And now in 2016, they've taken a big leap and a great initiative towards raising an entire village. They're going to visit a small Adivasi village near Palghar and  lend a helping hand in improvising the basic whereabouts of the village. For instance, these boys will be painting the school so as to create a love for studies in those Adivasi children, Secondly, providing them with healthy food so that no one dies of malnutrition. Saichha's motive is not to give them a timely help rather it should be something long-lasting. Hence, they've planned a tree-plantation act wherein they'll be planting those trees which will yield them a source of earning (Fruits, vegetables, etc.)
Coming back to Sai Baba's thought, as he does not want his devotees to walk for 9 days and lean into Shirdi exhausted. Instead, if we spend those many days in serving and improving the villages who lack the basic necessities and then go forward to Shirdi to thank the Almighty for this beautiful life, I'm sure Sai Baba will be smiling from wherever he is. The enormous money spent for the huge Sai Palkhis can be definitely used effectively if gone through this noble deed, isn't it?
Think over it and get set go to actually impart a helping hand under a thoroughly guided path of the social, enthusiastic, cheerful and sensitive Saicha Boys.
I guess getting socially connected isn't just through facebook and twitter, it's actually what Saiccha is doing!

Come one, come all, together we can make a great difference to the society we live in!

ORIGIN OF A NOBLE IDEA!

Shirdi ke Sai Baba also regarded as saint, fakir and satguru by his devotees according to their individual proclivities and beliefs. Since 40 years, thousands of devotees spend over 9 to 10 days walking; to reach His doorstep, which is Shirdi. To think in logical terms, Sai baba spent his entire life serving people personally, irrespective of caste and creed. Unlike Him, are we really following his footsteps? Or are we just following a certain ritual blindly? God doesn't want his child to walk 200 km, does he? In fact, as our parents love us selflessly, so is his love - Selfless. He is not materialistic, neither does He loves money.
For Him all that matters is his children's happiness. He wants all of us to be healthy and happy. But is everybody around us healthy? The answer is, of course, a big No. Where people don't even get enough to eat, how will they be healthy? There would be no one dying of malnutrition and hunger if we would have taken out our heads to look around to see our fellow citizens. It is a shame for one and all that after 68 years of Independence people die of hunger. It will be absolutely incorrect to blame anyone else. It's time to stop waiting for a government help or minister's blessings because where there is a will there is a way. If each one of us go out of our way to help a few fellow citizens, just imagine how big the tree diagram will look like. It'll be praiseworthy!
We all think of helping the underprivileged and the less fortunate. But many of us fail to do so due to misguidance. Dropping a rupee in some beggars bowl is not really called helping him. Helping too needs a guided path. To be more precise, the help must be forever or at least, a long-lasting one.
To pull you out of your small cubicle and engage you in a noble deed, Saichha boys have come forth with an outstanding concept of lending a helping hand to the less fortunate. Are you all ready for the assistance? Then pull up your socks and keep up the high spirits, I'll be briefing you about the noble deed in which you can join in. Please stay tuned to read my next blog.
